A single gold cup in amongst the rest, highlighted the value of water to those who have very little.
Considering our virtual water footprint, this piece was participative and designed to allow the viewer to consider their own unseen use of water. The 100 x 100ml water cups were slip cast in porcelain and surrounded a bucket containing 10 litres of fresh water. Participants were invited to take a cupful of water and were then allowed to take the cup home as a reminder. There was enough water for everyone in the bucket provided that no one was wasteful or greedy. (Plymouth University 2020)
