Considering the topic of endangered species. This piece focussed on the current crisis concerning the rapidly diminishing rhino population, largely due to the illegal trade in African rhino horn for traditional Chinese medicine.
Representing the average number of rhinos killed by poachers every month in 2018 in Africa alone, 93 vessels were slip cast in porcelain using antique medicine bottles. Displayed in a series of vitrines, the collective effect was sobering. (Exeter College 2019)
